God's stimilus plan

It has been on my heart to share this as I keep hearing about people struggling and people losing jobs. I am very thankful for God's blessings during this time and want to give God the glory for His faithfulness. 3 years ago is when Rodney Howard Browne came thru here and God really used him to show me some things. He taught on giving, which I'm sure I have heard all the scriptures on tithe and offerings many times but this time I was really HEARING. I had been crying out to God for a couple of months, begging Him for more. I knew there had to be more and I wanted it. Finances was one part of more that He showed me. Rodney was reading in Malachi 3 and especially vs 10 where God says TRY ME. Now when I say to my kid, TRY ME, it's because I already know that what I am saying is true and know for a fact what the outcome will be if she does TRY ME. So I said, ok God, I'm gonna try you. This pastor says we are suppose to go to their bible school and if it is really what you want then you gotta provide. I need $2700 for tuition and I have no money, but I'm gonna try you and put $270, a tithe (10%) of what I need on my credit card and see if your word is true. Well , the next day, my brother who I hadn't seen in over a year showed up at my doorstep unannounced and wanted to take us to dinner. I was sharing with him all that happened and I had also just led 14 people to the Lord the day before when I went out with the Pastor to evangelize- Also the MORE I was praying for. I was crying , feeling the presence the Lord as I was sharing with my brother and he said, I am paying your tuition. Wow! If you knew all the history , this would really be more significant, but none the less, I was convinced that titheing works. I continued to tithe and give offerings above as I felt led ever since and it has been one miracle of provision after another. Crazy stuff was happening that made me know it HAD to be God. For instance, we needed money to move to go to bible school. My EX-brother-in-law, who I hated for many horrible things he did to my sister, actually hired my sister to decorate his house. That's a double whammy because they hated each other also and it made no sense. She came an bought our stuff at full price to decorate his house. Only God could do that!! Oh, and by the way, side note, no more hate, praise God. Any way, I could tell you 1 amazing story after another, about how when we arrived that someone paid Robin's first semester of tuition also and we weren't even sure if she was gonna go. Long story short, within 4 months of tithing, God also gave me a new job which almost tripled my income as well. I had never made a 6 figure income in my life before, even though I wanted to and tried, until I started tithing. Here we are in the present, I am a sales director. My position is a commission based position, which means -- no sales, no money. God has given me extreme favor with my boss. Many things happened which to keep it short, all but a few individuals lost their job. There has been no money coming into the company since 2/13 and I should have lost my job, at the very least be without an income until we get some more campaigns going. My boss, not only kept me but gave me a 2k/wk salary just to sit tight and wait. He said he could always get people to do what I do, but it was worth it to him to hold onto a man of character and integrity, as those are not easy to find. He probably won't even have any work for me till May, but I am using this time to really get refocused on the eternal and it's been great. I hope that this encourages someone, God is faithful to his word, and this really works. I know unsaved people who are doing it just because they know it works, crazy huh? Prov 3:9-10 is another one of my favorites as it really changed my life. God commands, not asks, that we honor Him with our possessions and with the first fruits of all our increase. That is the key to the blessing. The blessing is that our barns be filled with plenty and our vats overflowing with new wine. Definition of plenty- prosperity, which means a situation where there is more than adequate supply of food, money, and other necessities. Wow, here's another wow. I always read the vats overflowing with new wine as the same thing, but it's not. I was reading this and it hit me in my spirit that this is the anointing. GIVING is the key to EVERYTHING in the natural and the supernatural. God bless you all, I know this is long so I'll be quiet now, :)
