Isn't it crazy that being obedient is just something we were commanded to do, and still yet if you Are obediant he rewards you so greatly, so greatly, for something we're already supposed to be doing. (It's like my employees,.... I can't go out and just reward them for doing the job I pay them to do.....or they might need to be motivated that way all the time just to do "their job".) Yes, I may reward them when they do extra special things like exceed my expectations ,or win a contest at work etc., but not for ordinary behaviors.
God just wants me to be obediant to his word and what he tells me to do, ....not do extroidinary things....but rather be an obediant child..... He rewards us just for doing "our jobs"..............Fasting is one of the ordinary behaviors of our relationship with him, and yet the reward during the fast is awesome......it's the feeling of being able to hear him more easily and closer than before.
(when you were young did you ever string two cans together with a piece of string and play the telephone game??? wern't you amazed you could hear the other person through a can who was standing pretty far away???)
No matter what I see or hear.... He tapps me on the shoulder and gives me a lil nudge....Thank Goodness it wasnt the shove I deserved.
God, thank you for the rewards you have and will bestow upon me and my family, and this body!!! You are awesome!!!! :) Thank you for spoilin your kid with more of your presence!!!
